Arcadis is seeking a nationally recognized Aviation Project Manager, a "Seller/Doer" that has successfully managed billion dollar aviation construction programs including new terminal construction projects.
Lead and/or support the pursuit team and be positioned as the PM/PD for multiple aviation pursuits across the US to successfully win a new aviation contract as a prime for Arcadis
Manage a complex Terminal project including planning, design and construction.
Manage alternative delivery methods such as DB, CMAR, DBFOM, PPP, etc.
Develop and implement Quality Control and Quality Assurance programs
Strong command of Program Management approaches and technologies, including the application of BIM and the development and application of Program Management Systems (PMIS)
Proven ability to develop and manage large complex multi-disciplinary teams engaged in the delivery of large airport development programs
Able to provide client references from at a major US airport authority
Duties before contract award:
Work with Client Development staff, Operations Directors and other pursuit team members to develop capture planning and pursuit strategies for significant aviation pursuits for ANA
Establish teaming agreements with sub consultants
Developing recruitment strategy and lead recruitment effort for the pursuit
Lead the writing of the technical proposal
Lead the interview team
Duties after contract award:
Will be the onsite lead for the Arcadis team reporting daily to the construction job site with the Arcadis staff and client team members
Leads the development and implementation of the Capital Project. Provides direction and input on projects from design development stage through construction
Monitors execution of project’s construction technical requirements, manages construction projects, including resolution of field issues, the Request for Information process, etc. and other tasks needed during construction
Ensures compliance with program/project design criteria requirements, coordinates with all stakeholders to assure design accuracy and quality
Makes recommendations for procedural adjustments to mitigate future logistics construction adverse impacts affecting airport customers
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering / Construction related field required
Licensed Engineer in CA and NY or able to get one in six months
20 Years' of aviation experience
10 Years’ experience in providing complete on call project management/construction management services to support a multi-billion dollar capital improvement program at an active US commercial airport
Experience in managing significant Terminal Construction Programs
Able to provide client references
